Health 10x Teams Take On India
Last week our Health 10x teams travelled to India as part of their immersive trip to better understand India's healthcare system, its current technologies and connect with industry experts. These ranged from primary care providers, hospital management teams, local investors, potential partners, researchers, collaborators and customers.
Each day provided an in depth look of how India is aiming to address the health issues as well as knowledge and skills for health startups in order to address the rising concerns of non-communicable diseases in underserved markets, especially in low and middle-income countries.
The teams were able to experience first-hand the health service delivery by ASHAs and being invited to Australian High Commission in Delhi for workshops and talks. The action-packed week was all in lead up to Pitch Night, where 5 Health 10x teams and 6 Indian Startups presented in front of experienced judges.
At the conclusion of the week, our Health 10x teams have gained an increase in validation for their product in the Indian Market, networks and scale up strategies.
