Technological Feasibility

VidUp’s technological solution is looking to solve a specific problem; in a world where video is an increasingly important communication medium, how do we create great looking videos without a cumbersome editing process? In our pitch today we will demonstrate how our technology can already do this. We believe the technology, as it exists today, is already feasible.

It is important to note that we’re still working hard to bring this technology to its full potential and truly become the Canva for video creation. Our primary focus in the coming months is working with our audience to make our platform more robust and UX-friendly.

Business Model

We believe a subscription model suits VidUps customers. Following in the footsteps of the world’s top creative platforms -Canva, Adobe -we offer a ‘free’ tier that provides value and builds our market base, while offering a superior experience on the paid tiers. Our primary research has so far suggested that $10/month is a good starting point for paid features. Users on this tier will have more cloud storage, access to a bigger media library and higher quality rendering. We will also have a customizable corporate tier with much greater storage capabilities. Canva’s paid users increased from 2% to 5% between 2018 and 2020, and we would hope for a similar trend as more users sign up to the VidUp platform
