One billion people worldwide have poor vision simply because they have no access to affordable glasses. The 4eyes Vision Kit contains everything a layperson needs to test for and dispense customised affordable glasses on the spot. Improving vision in this way has a huge impact on local economies and communities by enabling people to read, work, study, drive and care for others.  We are a team of dedicated clinicians and entrepreneurs. Demo Night Pitch

Dr Sarah Crowe is an ophthalmic surgeon with a wealth of experience. She has a special interest in Cataract Surgery using multifocal intraocular lenses and oculoplastic. Originally from Canada, Dr Crowe obtained her first-degree BSc (First Class Hons) from Mt Allison University, Canada. This included an Honours year on a Rotary Scholarship at St Andrews University in Scotland. She was awarded a Rhodes Scholarship for the prestigious Oxford University where she completed a doctorate in molecular biology and has been in private general practice since 2000.

When Sarah visited an eye clinic in the Solomon Islands, she saw first hand the serious vision problems of many residents. As she diagnosed them, she realised that few had access to treatment or surgery let alone glasses and so she invented a system that enables those living in inaccessible and often disadvantaged communities to have their eyes tested and prescription glasses assembled on the spot.
