We are building diversified portfolios you can spend. Investors will sign up and select investment option (initially: Cash, Conservative, Balanced, Growth). We will then provide provide each investor with a BSB and Account Number, and a Visa Card. Investors will be able to send and receive money via direct debit and their card in real time (just like a bank account). And while their money is in the account, they will earn the investment return that reflects their selected investment option.
Investors will be able to view their accounts, switch portfolios and provide direct debit instructions via a mobile app (that feels quite similar to a mobile banking app) and can transact online and in-store on their card. No more dead money in the bank.
