UNSW Founders Health 10x Program Manager & Startup Coach

Hi, my name is Dina Titkova and I am the Health 10x Program Manager here at UNSW Founders. I would love to hear about your HealthTech innovation or research commercialisation plans.

My number one passion is to improve healthcare around the globe and to help bring innovative solutions to market. I started my journey in healthcare by attaining my master’s in biomedical engineering in Russia and then transitioned into business development in a large Moscow based MedTech company. After a few years I pivoted my career and moved to Sweden where I built a strong entrepreneurial foundation through studying a Master in Bioentrepreneurship and engaging with a vibrant innovation scene in Stockholm. While studying, I joined a digital health startup/academic spinout as a first employee and learnt about the startup world from the inside out.

Then came time for another change, as I crossed the globe to Sydney and now find myself here, at UNSW Founders, having the best job I have had so far.

My recommendations:

READ -

  • Bad Blood: Secrets and Lies in a Silicon Valley Startup by John Carreyrou - in my humble opinion, a must-read book for all health tech entrepreneurs.

LISTEN -

  • Tech Tonics podcast by Lisa Suennen. The podcast is focused on the people and passion at the intersection of technology and health.
  • Research For What? podcast by Rom Bouveret, where Rom is trying to find an answer on why we do research and how we measure the impact it achieves
