Ellisa is part of Blackbird Ventures' investment team. Blackbird is a venture capital fund based in Australia and New Zealand. Blackbird was founded in 2012 with a single mission: to supercharge the most ambitious founders.
Prior to Blackbird Ellisa worked across the finance world. Ellisa began her professional career in Investor Relations where she worked on major technology company capital raises and IPOs. The majority of her professional career to date has been in Investment Banking where she was responsible for financial analysis of large public and private companies, a range of M&A and capital markets transactions. Ellisa also worked for Australia's second largest superfund where she was part of the investments team.
Before Ellisa started her professional career, she founded, grew and then sold an online retail business that designed and marketed temporary metallic tattoos.
