InsideSherpa runs free company-branded virtual internships. These online work experience programs are open-access to any student, regardless of background, and help up-skill students on tasks that are directly relevant for employers. Because they are online, students are able to work on these programs in their own time, whilst juggling study and other commitments.
This unique technology then helps employers learn about and reach the students who are interested in starting a career with them.
InsideSherpa was previously part of UNSW Founder's Flagship accelerator Founders 10x, which assists in supporting UNSW Alumni, Startup Communities and Entrepreneurship. After the 10x program, InsideSherpa has gone on to participate in various ventures and accelerators. Most notably, InsideSherpa was accepted into the 2019 Y Combinator Winter Batch, gaining major support and seed funding from YC. YC is one of America's top accelerators, helping launch over 2000 companies.
