Tony Huang (CO-Founder and CTO)

The concept behind WARU was born from the 2019-2020 fire season. After looking into the existing technologies used for fire protection, Tony decided that Australian citizens needed better. Tony brings engineering experience to the team. With both Winston and Nathan, Tony is determined to change how we protect our homes from bushfires.

Nathan Lee

Nathan Lee (CO-Founder and CEO)

Nathan developed the founding idea behind WARU after the disastrous 2019-2020 bushfire season. His friends have been personally affected, and Nathan is determined to use his engineering skills to develop a solution to prevent further disaster.

Winston Woong

Winston Woong (CFO)

Winston Woong brings legal knowledge to Waru and is the CFO of Waru. His role in Waru encompasses the financial and legal aspects of the business. Together with Nathan Lee and Tony Huang, Winston aims to change how we protect our homes from bushfires.
