New speaker series launched to empower next generation women entrepreneurs

New Wave in Motion kicked off on August 27 with Narelle Anderson, Founder and Managing Director of Envirobank Recycling, an Indigenous-owned company she established in 2008 to achieve positive environmental and social impact by incentivising bottle and can recycling. Narelle, often referred to as “The recycling queen” and “The woman who does things others say cannot be done” spoke about her experiences as a woman founder who was truly ahead of her time. Narelle’s revolutionising of the Australian recycling industry with the introduction of Reverse Vending Machine Technology into public and commercial environments, now underpins deposit legislation both locally and globally.
